Baby TJ

I have gotten a few questions lately about actually calling our child TJ. That is actually not the plan. We just use that since we do not know the sex and either way those ended up as the initials.
We love both of the names that we have chosen and will be using them. So as soon as the baby arrives you will all fianlly know what to call our little mircle.

Baby TJ is almost here!!!!!

Well I had my last official prenatal appointment yesterday. I am about 2cm dilated and 75% effaced, so we are making progress. The weird thing is that my belly (uterus) measurment went down, which means I am getting smaller?? I measured about 35.5 weeks instead of the 39-40 weeks that I should be measuring (I have measured smaller than average the whole pregnancy, but going backwards is definately not the norm).
So once again I had to have an utrasound to check in on little TJ and my fluid levels. Thank God everything is A-OK. I guess I am just a circus freek!!! My baby is getting bigger and my belly is getting smaller??? Who knows. Since I have gotten smaller Dr. Murphy does not want me going past my due date. So...If baby does not arrive this weekend I will be induced on Tuesday. Please pray that labor starts naturally before that and if not June 23rd is going to be the Birthdate of my first child. We can not wait!!!!!!!!!!!
Stay posted.

Our Garden

So we decided to be ultra motivated and grow a vegetable garden this year. Perfect timing for homemade baby food! I started quite a few plants inside the house in the early spring. At the beginning of June we transplanted those and planted the seeds for the other vegetables that needed to go directly in the ground. Unfortunately most of the plants that were started indoors did not make it...but so far the seeds planted look like they will bear fruit! It will still be a month or 2 for most to mature but I am so excited to be able to eat some veggies that were grown in my own back yard!
Tomatoes, Jalapenos, Squash, Zucchini, Green Beans, Wax Beans, Carrots, Sugar Snap Peas, Garlic, Spinach, Corn, Cucumbers, Onions, Broccoli and Sunflowers along the back fence.

6' fence to keep the pesky deer out!!!

38 weeks

I am a little behind, seeing as this picture is from last weekend.
As of today I am about a 1.5 weeks away from my due date. Not a lot of progress so far; no dilation, but I am 50% effaced.
I can't wait!!!
